P.E. Guerin, Inc.

fine hardware

P.E. Guerin is the oldest decorative hardware firm in the United States, and the only metal foundry in Manhattan. The company was started in 1857 by French immigrant Pierre Emmanuel Guerin and has been at its current location on Jane Street in Greenwich Village since 1892. Four generations later, the company remains a family business, now owned and directed by Pierre Emmanuel’s great grandnephew, Andrew F. Ward.

P.E. Guerin’s dedication to hand-crafted, quality hardware makes them ideal for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. They are experts in door, plumbing, window, and cabinet hardware, and much more. From highly ornate hardware adorning turn-of-the-century mansions, to modern hardware filling the latest skyscrapers, P.E. Guerin’s versatility knows no bounds. If they don’t already have what you’re looking for, they can make it custom. Learn more about the products, the manufacturing process, and the finishes available at peguerin.com.
